Founded in 2019
Lane Change, a 501(C)(3) non-profit, was founded after a young man,
Lane Austin, lost his battle with his opioid dependency in our community ( Lebanon, MO )
at the age of 27.
Lane was ready to get help and was waiting for a bed at an inpatient rehab facility, when he overdosed and passed away. He wanted help, he wanted change, but he wasn't able to get the help he needed.
We want to help individuals like Lane. His death was not in vain and we are hoping to use his life to help others receive the help they need.

Our Recovery Support Program
Lane Change is a faith-based recovery support program that offers daily support groups, counseling/therapy, peer support, case management, and 12 Step Support to individuals in our community who struggle with a substance use disorder. We also offer referrals to detox/inpatient treatment as well as transportation to treatment if that service is needed.
Through this program, we are also able to provide support to incarcerated individuals in our community through group therapy and inpatient treatment referrals. We are able to provide our services free of charge to individuals in our community who are not in a financial situation to be able to afford treatment and may be under-insured.
Many of the clients coming to Lane Change, seeking support, are not in a place financially where they can afford treatment. We do not want this to be a reason they do not pursue recovery. Therefore, we seek grant opportunities to be able to support the individual in receiving the care they need. We want to educate our community and reduce the stigma associated with substance use disorder all while providing free substance abuse services to individuals in our community who struggle with drug/alcohol dependency by licensed professionals.
